VidBaaz: Video Downloader
VidBaaz: Video Downloader saves WhatsApp statuses and downloads videos from links you paste — TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and more. No account, no sign-up and no servers of our own: everything happens right on your phone.
1Information we handle
| Data | What happens to it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Personal information (name, email, account) | Never collected — no account, no sign-up | — |
| Links you paste | Processed only on your device; never sent to us | Fetching the video you asked for |
| Videos you download | Saved directly from the platform to your phone (Download/VidBaaz folder) | So you can watch and share them later |
| WhatsApp statuses on your device | Shown on your device only, with your permission; a status is saved only when you tap Save | The status saver feature |
| App settings & preferences | Stored only on your device | Remembering how you like the app set up |
| Device & advertising identifiers (via Google AdMob) | Collected by Google AdMob under Google's own privacy policy | Showing ads that keep the app free |
2How downloads work
VidBaaz has no servers of its own. When you paste a link, the app fetches the video directly from that platform to your phone — we never see the links you paste or the videos you save. For some Facebook links, VidBaaz opens the page in a simple in-app browser so the video can load; that browsing also stays entirely on your device.
3Permissions we use
- Internet — to fetch the videos you ask for.
- Storage & media access — to show WhatsApp statuses and save your downloads on your phone.
- VidBaaz does not ask for your location, camera, microphone or contacts.
- You can revoke any permission any time in Android Settings → Apps → VidBaaz → Permissions.
- You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).
4Third-party platforms
Videos you download belong to the platforms and creators who posted them, and each platform's own terms and privacy policy apply to the content you access through VidBaaz. Please only download content you have the right to save, for your personal use. VidBaaz does not download from YouTube.
From the next update, VidBaaz also uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google processes device and advertising identifiers under its own privacy policy to serve those ads. We do not control how Google handles data it collects through its SDKs.
5Data security & retention
Because VidBaaz keeps everything on your device, there is no copy of your data on any server for us to protect, sell or lose. Your downloads stay in your Download/VidBaaz folder until you delete them, and uninstalling the app removes all of its on-device data.
6Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
